In Titus 2:3-5, the Bible says:  The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

The mission of the Deaconess Ministry is to assist the Pastor by working with the Deacons in ministering to the needs of the overall congregation ministering to women, children, the elderly, the sick & shut-in, and to those in distress. The Deaconess Ministry assists the Deacons in preparing for the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper.  Moreover, the Deaconess Ministry assists in participating in the Mission and Outreach Programs of the Church.
